The Mission Motivation Committee is working with Midwest Mission Distribution Center to collect items for the Personal Dignity Kits and Home Care Kits. Midwest Mission distributes the kits locally, nationally and internationally to those in need during times of crisis, free of charge. All items should be NEW and should include only the items requested.

Please place donations by the OCCUMC Collection sign near the highboy by the Sanctuary entrance. We are also an Ingathering Drop Off Site, so other churches will leave their donations by the coat rack.
You can also donate $15 to cover the cost of a Personal Dignity Kit or $20 for a Home Care Kit by including it in your weekly OCCUMC church offering and indicate this on the memo, or by clicking on ONLINE GIVING at the top of this page, click on Donate Now and select the Other box to enter the kit you are covering.
Volunteers are needed to check in and load donations at Annual Conference in Green Bay anytime during our drop off hours: Friday, June 9th 10am-4pm and Saturday, June 10th 8am-2pm.

Oak Creek Community United Methodist Church is hosting a rice meal pack event on Saturday, April 22nd from 4pm-6pm. These meals will be sent internationally to meet health needs and help with disaster relief. Come and join us! You can pack for an hour or two! Sign up on your own and make some new friends or get your family and friends together and sign up for several slots. (We recommend participants be 10 years or older.).

A huge thank you to all who scoured their bookshelves and closets for gently used books, and even purchased new ones.We collected over 350 books for the 21st Century Preparatory School in Racine! Principal Stacey James (2nd from right) and teachers give out books as rewards to their students in grades K through 8.We celebrate the support of this program, and lift in prayer the school’s teachers, staff, and the recipients of these books.
