The OCCUMC Youth Group is for anyone in grades 6 through 12 (inclusive). You do not need to be a member of any church to join. We meet monthly in the Youth Room (L5&7) for faith-building discussion, fellowship outings, and service to others. We are always ready to welcome newcomers!

Tabitha Circle

All Women are invited to join Tabitha Circle for any of our events.

We usually meet the 2nd Sunday at 2pm for devotion and Christian fellowship.  Sometimes we meet at a different day or time to accommodate tours or other special events. Some meetings are online so we can meet with our friends who are not close by while other meetings are in person.

Sarah Circle

The Sarah Circle  usually meet on the 3rd Thursday in the library at church, from 10:0 a.m. to 11:30. Our meetings include Bible study, sfellowship, and planning events that support our mission of helping women and children in the wider community.  Our mission projects include layettes for newborns at Aurora Sinai, La Causa and Sixteenth Street clinic, and the sock ministry which benefits Northcott Neighborhood House.

Women who are part of the UWF Reading Program meet before the meeting at 9:30 a.m. to share and recommend books they have read and enjoyed.

All women are invited to join our meetings and events.

Going To Pieces sewing group

The Going to Pieces fabric artists group is always busy. Our membership is very diverse in interests and ability. Below is a list of some of our major activities:

· We make baby blankets, quilts, and receiving blankets for our Church's layette project.

· We sell the items that we make at the annual autumn Oak Creek Community Art Faire. 100% of the proceeds we make goes back to the church for projects and updates.

We make donations to the baptismal gifts and church auction, and have led an annual matching donation event that goes to the Salvation Army.

We welcome anyone interested in having fun with their creative talents..

Merry Mat makers

The Merry Mat Makers meet at 4pm on Tuesdays except on Cathedral dates.

We are collecting bags again for the sleeping mats. We're asking for thicker ones only (Festival, Menards, Sendik's, Kwik Trip, Target), as the thin ones break easily. We love bright colored bags. And as always the bags need to be clean, dry and empty of all contents. Flattened bags are especially appreciated.

Blooming gardeners

The Blooming Garden team maintains the flowers and the sitting area around the main north entrance.

In 2020 we developed a sitting area in memory of a church member. This sitting area is for anyone to  spend time in prayer and enjoy our gardens.  We invite you to come and sit in the sitting area to relax, and pray.

A few years ago we planted several gardens in the north parking lot islands and main entrance. They were new and small but today they are thriving and extremely beautiful through several seasons. Our gardens are maintained by church volunteers.  We welcome anyone interested in helping keep our little church on the hill, beautiful.
