GTP Food bank challlenge FEBruary 18 - APRil 5, 2026

OCCUMC's Going To Pieces (GTP), for the 5th year, has initiated the Food Bank Challenge, with all funds raised going to the Oak Creek Salvation Army Food Bank. The Challenge will run from Ash Wednesday (February 18th) through Easter Sunday (April 5th).

Over the past 4 years we have helped the Salvation Army keep their food pantry shelves stocked during the summer months. Raising funds has proven to be much more efficient, as the Salvation Army has the resources to buy in bulk and gets more value for every dollar raised.

GTP will initial the challenge with $1,000 and the United Women in Faith (UWF) are add $300 to the initial match. The two ministry teams are challenging the congregation to match their combined donations of $1,300.

Envelopes are located next to the blue boxes in the sanctuary marked Food Pantry Challenge. Please use one of those, or several! To designate money with your weekly offering, please specify the amount for the Food Pantry Challenge.

OR you can donate online: occumc.org > Online Giving > Donate Now > Other > Food Challenge.
