Cares & Concerns
35"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'"
Cares and Concerns Work Area
Cares and Concerns is a ministry whose mission is to care and serve those people in our congregation and beyond who have special needs at any given time. These needs may include births, deaths, hospitalization, illness, and shut-in or any other unforeseen situations where we may show our love for others. We offer these services as a loving extension of God and his care for us.
A description of our ministry is as follows:
- Cards for Joys and Support
- Telephone contact or personal visits
- Welcome letters to new members
- CareNotes booklets for youth and adult - display located on a table in the narthex
- Grief books
- Rose on the altar for birth of a baby
- Other support as needed
Please inform us with the birth of a new baby so we may share the joy and schedule an announcement, along with a rose on the altar.
Feel free to contact the church office at 414-762-4600 with any questions or concerns.
