Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is charged with the supervision and maintenance of all property and equipment owned by the Oak Creek Community United Methodist Church (OCCUMC).  This includes creating policies for the use of such property and equipment, receiving and administering all gifts made to OCCUMC, overseeing investments, maintaining all legal documents, maintaining proper insurance coverage, and developing appropriate risk management policies.

Recent major activities:

  • Updated phone system and internet
  • Resealed & restriped parking lot
  • Prayer Garden sitting area (Memorial project)
  • Removed Doyle Hall platform and old asbestos tile in preparation for new flooring
  • Renovated Parsonage and rented out to new tenants

Future major activities:

  • Replace all previously carpeted flooring
  • Finish clading the steeple
  • Finish repainting all exterior woodwork
